I dont know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe its both. Maybe both happening at the same time.
Sometimes it would stop raining long enough for the stars to come out. And then it was nice. It was like just before the sun goes to bed down on the bay. There was over a million sparkles on the water. Like that mountain lake. It was so clear. It looks like there were two skies, one on top of the other. And in the desert, when the sun comes up, I couldnt tell where heavens stopped and the earth began. It was so beautiful. And I wish you could have been there with me.
Someone always said to me, I have got to put the past behind me before I can move on. And I think thats what my running was all about. I had run for three years. And when I got here, I figured since I'd gone this far, I might as well just not turn back, keep right on going.
Im not a smart girl, but I know I have a heart. Im just gonna have to figure this out for myself. Life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.
